My previous favorite E-mail providers were hushmail and lavabit, but it seems both of them are now blocking access via tor nodes, which means big trouble for people who rely on steady email addresses for their business.
What minimalistic webmail service do you use? The big email providers right now have way too much bloat for low-bandwidth Tor traffic, and I personally LOVE(d) hushmail's interface.

I know safe-mail.net can still be accessed with tor.
They even have a minimal login with no scripts since many of us have java script disabled.
However I would be interested in others since I have had problems with receiving mail at safe-mail and if you post your email in a public place your account can be closed sine they think you are a spammer/scammer.

I think i2pmail from postman is by far the best in terms of anonymity.

Strange. I use hushmail and have never once had a problem logging in with Tor running.

Because hushmail cooporated with the fbi over a chinese viagara seller and exposed his account. Google for it.

You honestly believe that if DEA came to your email provider with a court order that they wouldn't cooperate?
Hushmail doesn't have my IP address (no one does), and if you're doing it right, they shouldn't have yours. I can't speak for anyone else, but there's nothing in my inbox but encrypted emails.

I registered for fastmail after seeing them on the Hidden Wiki page for Email providers. I like them so far, very clean interface without much bloat.

safe-mail.net
doesn't ask for anything to sign up: no names, no email address needed to verify.

Safe-mail.net works for me. It seems to retain the ip address your sending from in the message header, so i would recommend send via TOR.

It would be nice to make this a poll.

I'm a big fan of i2pmail, the only reason I haven't changed my mail associated with this nick is because it's in my gpg key.
